Tiny backpacks. Wiggly teeth. Crayons in every color. Hands raised just a little too high. It feels like only yesterday that these students walked through our doors for the very first time.
This past June, we honored our littlest lions at their Kindergarten Stepping Up Ceremony. It was joy to recognize such an incredible class that spent the past year learning, growing, and discovering just how much they could accomplish.
Along the way came first books read independently, artwork proudly carried home, new friendships, classroom celebrations, and the excitement of realizing that each day brought something they couldn’t do the day before. Before long, the classroom that once felt brand new had become a place where curiosity flourished, confidence grew, and every achievement, big or small, was celebrated. Those moments came to life during the ceremony as students delighted families with heartfelt performances that perfectly captured their incredible first year at LION.
Now, these students are ready for first grade, carrying with them a year filled with unforgettable memories and a foundation that will continue to grow for years to come.
