- Middle school students explore clubs, arts, and leadership activities that build confidence, collaboration, and personal responsibility beyond the classroom, such as the World Scholars Program. Since its launch, over 70 students have experienced immersive trips to Cuba, France, Italy, and Costa Rica.
- Students in grades 4–5 can choose from two team sport opportunities, while grades 6–8 have access to six competitive team sports that promote discipline, teamwork, and school pride.
- Extracurriculars provide meaningful opportunities for students to discover their interests, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their connection to the LION community.

Our Middle School (4-8) develops skills necessary for student success in high school and beyond.
Teachers, students, and all members of the learning community collaborate through culturally relevant learning experiences, student-centered classrooms, and a curriculum designed so all students may thrive.
