The weather is hot, the sun is shining, and learning continues at LION! Reflecting on our 2024-2025 school year, I remain inspired by the work of our staff and the potential of our students. We had an amazing end to the school year, celebrating the completion of Kindergarten, transitions from elementary to middle school and middle school to high school, and our thirteenth commencement exercises. We are particularly proud of the Class of 2025, who had an impressive 94% graduation rate! Graduates, your commitment to and love for one another were palpable at graduation, and I was honored to hear each of you tell the story of your journey at LION. The growth you recognized in yourselves is a testament to your commitment to character, your values, and the community you helped shape at LION. We wish you all the best as you move forward into the lives that you imagine for yourselves.
This issue highlights amazing student opportunities across our school, including our elementary arts program, middle school World Scholars program, and high school athletics program. We are also excited to share that we just celebrated the 10th anniversary of LION’s College Persistence Fund and will introduce you to six alumni who spoke at our spring fundraising event. Lastly, you will meet some of the “first faces” of our K-12 staff, our Main Office receptionists and administrative assistants who greet visitors to every division.
