Sherrie is a highly regarded coach, strategist, and change agent experienced in driving operational excellence in academic and healthcare settings. Sherrie’s passion for empowering urban communities is evident through her career dedicated to serving the people of the Bronx and Harlem. She is committed to making a positive impact and helping others achieve their goals.

Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at LION Charter School, Sherrie oversees finance, operations, and information technology. Her commitment to providing seamless operational support enables students to focus on learning and teachers to focus on instruction. Before this role, she led business strategy and systems development as the Chief Operating and Talent Officer at Mott Haven Academy Charter School. Sherrie has also managed operations and programs in university, school-based, and network-level leadership positions. 

Sherrie holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University and a bachelor’s in Media and Communication Arts. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and regularly volunteers with various organizations.
